First Generation - Jax and Joker's Story
In 2006, we imported Eng. Ch. Saredon Wheels on Fire (Patsy) who was bred by Judy Averis. Patsy became the "foundation" of Longvue Airedales. She quickly finished her Championship and produced beautiful pups for us sired by the top winning American Airedale of all time - Ch. Evermay's High Performance. Patsy's son "Joker" - Eng. & Am. Ch. Longvue Joker at Saredon - won his American Championship with 5 majors at 16 months. He went to England in 2009 and quickly became an English Champion. He finished his year in England with 11 CC's and a tie as top Airedale in England.
Joker's brother, Eng. & Am. Ch. Longvue Jackpot ("Jax"), finished his championship with 5 majors including two Best of Winners awards on the Montgomery weekend. He was also a multiple Group 1 winner and father of many speciality winning pups. Jax went to England in 2010 and became an English Ch. in his first 3 shows. He went on to become the top Airedale (tie) in England for 2010 in less than 6 months of being exhibited. As a special thrill, in March, 2011, Jax was awarded Best of Breed and Group II at Crufts! Jax returned to Longvue in 2014 and at 8 1/2 years old he won Best of Opposite Sex from the Veteran Class at the National Specialty at MCKC. In 2017, at 11.5 years of age, Jax retired the lovely Bob LaRouche trophy for being awarded Best Male Airedale Veteran at the National Specialty three times.
Thanks to our good friends - Judy, John and David at Saredon Kennels - for sending Patsy to us and for sponsoring and exhibiting Joker and Jax in England.
Eng. & Am. Ch. Longvue Jackpot was the King of our kennel for 14 years. Now his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren carry the torch
